Reason to believe - by Average Joe Death Row
When I look around me at these cream colored walls - bars and chicken wire...
I have a look for a reason to believe and find that uplifting desire...
I close my eyes and I see your face... and that vision takes me away from this place...
we are linked as one...
As if you know when I need you and always come...
I feel your presence so warm and near...
I can hear you say my name like a whisper in my ear...
So close - your spirit is as mine - mine a yours !!
And I remember the words I gave you and you returned words for word...
When things are bad - know I am by your side and my love you will see.
That I will be your strength -
and your reason to believe !!!

Who I am? Hey - it's me, the average girlfriend of your not so average soulmate, if I may say so *smile*.
I'm one of the probably very many readers of your letters - the letters from an average Joe. I'm the one who's desperatly waiting for new letters from the average Joe. Ok, there might be one woman
who's a tad bit more desperate *laughing*,
but she knows what I mean...
Joe, your letters do mean much to mes - the average one outside. Your writing is soul tickeling and mind boggling.
The poem "Reason to Believe" - more than touching - heart grabbing, in a very positive way.
Dear Average Joe, please keep them coming, let the best girlfriend I have go nuts about typing 'em all up,so I can read 'em... I and many more. Maybe you don't know it, maybe you do - your words are an
inspiration to every one with a heart, soul and mind. Ok, let's not forget the body, would be quite a mess without :-)
I don't know how many you reach - I sure hope a lot, 'cause all the support and efforts and beliefs aren't worth a sh*t (excuse my language) without inspirations like yours.
Joe, do take very good care of yourself please, stay safe and write lots of letters - from the Average Joe to the world.
